How can I shape Goole Youth Action?
Goole Youth Action's commitment is that young people shape the work we do. When we created our first summer programme back in 2016, young people were asked what they wanted to do and when; from this consultation we produced the entire programme. Since 2016, we have always asked young people their views, whether this concerns our summer activities, youth festivals or our detached street-based youth project.
The Goole Youth Forum
Prior to the Covid pandemic, we had an active Goole Youth Forum (GYF) that met several times informally to talk about the things young people would like to do in the future, as well as the need for a bright, colourful and useful website. Over the last year, Goole Youth Action has worked with Goole Youth Forum to shape and build this website.
We know wish to restart Goole Youth Forum. If you would like to get involved and influence the work we do, which benefits young people living in Goole and Old Goole, please get in touch via info.gooleyouthaction@gmail.com or complete the contact form below.

Interested in becoming a trustee?
Charities need trustees to ensure their organisation is well-governed, impartial and effective. Though it requires people to donate their time towards running a good cause, it can be incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. We're always looking for trustees to join the GYA board, particularly if they can plug skills gaps that we may be missing. Learn more about becoming a volunteer on our Become a volunteer page
Volunteering for Goole Youth Action
Becoming a volunteer can be the key to learning new skills, and it's a great way to give back to your local community. Learn more about becoming a volunteer on our Become a volunteer page.
